Zenthai Shiatsu is a therapeutic bodywork modality weaving together Zen Shiatsu, Thai massage, and osteopathic techniques. Rooted in Eastern medicine and modern structural therapy, it works with the body's energy systems, soft tissue, and joints. Using gentle stretching, joint mobilisation, and acupressure to release tension, improve mobility, and restore balance.
Sessions are tailored to the individual, whether the focus is easing pain and stiffness, calming the nervous system, or restoring vitality. This holistic modality nurtures body, mind, and spirit. Not just relieving discomfort but supporting deeper resilience and a greater sense of wellbeing.
My training began in 2019 with senior teacher Sally Meredith in Melbourne and has since deepened through extensive time at the home and heart of Zenthai in Ninderry (pictured), training with founder Gwyn Williams and senior teacher Merryn Penington. My experience includes specialised post-graduate courses, facilitator trainings, and co-teaching Zenthai to new students.
As a Zenthai therapist, I love helping people reconnect with their bodies. Whether through a single session to release tension and realign your energy, or through ongoing work to support chronic pain and restore vitality. Every session is an opportunity to tune into what your body truly needs in that moment.
A long soak in fluid, pulsing movement that meets the tension in your body with softness and brings vitality through working with acupressure points, reviving stagnation through movement and reflecting on the psycho-social influencing imbalance through the Chinese Medicine five-element theory.
Open for treatments on Saturdays in Machans Beach.
